We came, we saw, we advocated: A recap of our Charities’ Day on the Hill pilot

On May 13 and 14, 2015, Imagine Canada along with nine other sector organizations and two private sector sponsors piloted a Charities’ Day on the Hill event. Roughly 35 charity leaders and board members were involved. The Hill Day was modest in scale to test our ability to speak with a common voice as well as our ability to organize such an event. Marnie Grona is a marketing communications professional based in Toronto who works for Imagine Canada as Director, Marketing and Communications. She has a Masters Certificate in Marketing Communications Leadership through the Executive Education Centre of the Schulich School of Business and studied marketing and advertising at the University of Winnipeg. She also has a background in arts marketing and management where she served at the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Winnipeg Fringe Theatre Festival and the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre.
